Did you ever wish for your own company that builds modernized replicas of a 70 year old Lotus design? And would you also like it to participate in the pinnacle of open wheel racing? Good news! Tony Fernandes, Caterham's Malaysian owner, is ready to part with his automotive branch.
The package, rumoured to be offered for 600 Million Dollars (440 Million €, and something less in pounds) would consist of Caterham (the company that builds Super 7s of all varieties), Caterham F1 (the F1 team that goes nowhere and is dead last) and Caterham Technology, whatever that his.
Fernandes threatened to pull the plug on the F1 team if success wouldn't come this year, but apparently he now is sick of the whole thing. He is said to be looking for a potential buyer in the Middle-Eastern area, but I think that 600 Million is a bit much for a company of that magnitude.

I just got an brilliantly bad idea! Caterham 7 with turbo v6 f1 engine and some added aero! It would basically be a completely redesigned f1 car with shorter wheelbase and fmr layout.

Fuck that noise, there is probably an old V8 laying around that would be better to use. . . You just need an eternal supply of rubber. . .

Brilliantly Bad? No, just brilliant! Nothing wrong with that, this car would be the most scary vehicle on the road ever.
